Holiday Insurance Definitions All policies are through Essential Travel Ltd, a member of the Financial Services Authority (FSA). This document only constitutes a valid insurance when issued in conjunction with a validation certificate issued between 01/01/2005 and 31/12/2005 for journeys ending prior to 30/12/2006. The benefits under this certificate provided by AON Limited and underwritten by Optimum Limited. This policy is a CONTRACT OF INSURANCE. It contains details of the cover, conditions and exclusions relating to each Insured Person and is the basis on which all claims will be settled. In consideration of the payment of the required premium, Aon Limited and Optimum Limited hereby agree to pay or indemnify the Insured Person or his/her personal representative as follows; subject to the terms conditions and exclusions of this policy, on the schedule and in the application form. All policies are fulfilled through Essential Travel Ltd, a member of the Financial Service Authority.

Single trip holiday insurance

Our range or single trip polices will automatically give you 5 million medical, you will also have the facility to upgrade your policy to suit your travelling needs.

Annual multi trip travel insurance?

Our Annual Travel Insurance products allow you to book the maximum duration per trip that you require up to a maximum of 45 days, if you are travelling more than one a year, the Annual multi trip travel insurance will give you the flexibility to travel with out the worry of having to book the insurance every time. Please note that on an Annual policy the start date of the policy will be the commencement of the cover.

Budget holiday insurance

Our Budget cover does not include your cancellation cover, this is mainly booked if you are travelling the day before you departure as the risk of you canceling your trip in minimum, plus you might be on a tight budget and only require the medical cover for emergencies.

Standard holiday insurance cover

All quote on our quote engine will quote you on our standard policy, from there you will have the option to add baggage, and wintersports or downgrade to exclude the cancellation cover.

Premium travel cover

Our premium cover insurers you for peace of mind, with the cancellation cover being £5000 and the baggage and personal effects being £1750 you can rest assured that you are in good hands.

In addition to selecting budget, standard or premium travel insurance you can also choose to add these options.

Baggage cover

When you are selecting baggage cover you may already be insured through you house hold insurance, hence we give you the option to include or exclude this from the quote, it is always advisable to check with your insurers first, it could save you money.

Wintersports

Are you skiing, you must remember that when booking on our system you must select YES to wintersports to insure that you have the appropriate cover in place. Our products come with a standard of £1000 pounds worth of sports equipment for lost or stolen items in transit.

Golf cover

Planning a gold trip, make sure you click on the golf option on the results page, further more our golf cover option will allow you to book only one golfer if for example you where travelling with your family and only one of you wanted cover.
